Layering your art by leaning it against a wall is a great way to show it off along with other decor you may already have sitting around your home. We layered Larry's Baltimore Oriole on River Birch painting with a mirror, plant, books, and a lamp.

Another example on how to layer artwork with other decor in your home. Here, we placed the Goldfinch on Ironweed painting on some books that sit on top of our bench in the entry of our home. This, alongside some other color coordinating items such as pillows, flowers, and a candle help to tie all of it together.

Grouping color-coordinating paintings on a wall is a nice way to hang them together to show them off. We chose to hang the Egret at Rest, Hill Country Bluebonnets and placed a small cube canvas of Bluebirds and Purple Coneflower on the floating shelf. These all provide a beautiful focal point above the couch. The various shades of blue in the art tie in nicely with the pillows and decor we have, and it makes for a perfect spring and summertime feel in the home.

Our third example of layering is shown using our piano as a top to layer Larry's, Evening Glow in the Heartland with Indigo Bunting - Redbud. Alongside the two images we've included other decor with varying heights to keep it visually interesting. And, the ambiance of the candles and lamp creates a beautiful glow in the evening.

Here, we used the small cube of Bluebirds and Purple Coneflower again to show how it can be displayed in a grouping with other decor on a coffee table or console table. At 5" x 5",  it is small enough to easily place almost anywhere.

Larry's Twilight Serenity piece is the perfect size to add some visual interest to your kitchen countertop. We layered this framed image with a small potted faux plant. A couple other decor pieces nearby and, voila! Such an easy way to add decor to your kitchen!
