Morning Trio - Canada Geese is the third and final painting in Zach’s
popular “Foggy Morning” series. It follows Foggy Morning Trio - Wild Turkey
and Foggy Morning Whitetail - The Lovstuen Buck. All three prints in Larry’s
“Foggy Morning” series include Canada geese, three gobblers, and the new
world-record whitetail deer, the Lovstuen buck, with one of his racks or, in
the case of Foggy Morning Trio - Wild Turkey, since it is a spring scene,
one of his shed antlers.
Foggy Morning Trio - Canada Geese captures a tranquil, fall moment at dawn
as a foggy, rural scene is bathed in early morning light. Water from a
recent rain reflects subtle morning hues while three geese land in a picked
bean field.
In the foggy background, three gobblers head toward a weathered farmstead
where an old buck watches from nearby cover. Farther back in the fog a well
used John Deere tractor rests at the field’s edge.
